The Solai Residence represents a bold statement in contemporary Kenyan architecture. Situated on a 2-acre plot in the leafy suburb of Karen, this 6-bedroom villa was designed for a family of five who sought a home that would serve as both a private sanctuary and an entertainment venue.

Design Philosophy

The design draws inspiration from the raw materiality of Brutalism while introducing warmth through extensive use of local mvule timber and hand-cut Nairobi stone. The result is a structure that feels both monumental and intimate — a fortress that breathes.
